Sunday was the day of our 4th official shooting outing, being only the second of the 4 not to be put down by the weather. Id be tempted to so it was too hot, but in all fairness it did get a bit overcast which cooled it down after the walk up. After a little shooting session my instincs took over and I made a lovely fire with the help of the mad axe man Jamie who began cutting wood like no other. Shortly after this the weather appeared to take a turn for the worse when it began to rain but thankfully it didnt become so bad we had to hide for hours before going home, and infact cooled the air to a more comfortable temperature. After the fire had burnt out we took a walk across the top of the mountain to see some massive ravine which i would class as a valley. This lead into a walk further west which took us across some big open grass field which resembled no mans land somewhere in normany which was further enhanced when 3 what im sure was German Me109 fighters in close formation flew directly overhead no higher than 100-200 ft above our heads. After this short burst of exitement we walked back across the mountain to the west and then down to basicly directly behind my house which is where i colapsed….
